Jason Jeanneret is an entrepreneur, investor, and co-founder of Raven’s Joint, a New York cannabis dispensary and one of the first licensed retail locations in the state. He and his brother, Josh Jeanneret, built Raven’s Joint together from the ground up, jointly developing the concept, name, interior layout, marketing strategy, and overall brand vision that define the business today, in conjunction with their CAURD member, Ben.
Jason oversees all out-of-store operations for Raven’s Joint, including finance, payroll, compliance coordination, vendor management, and backend business systems, while Josh leads day-to-day in-store operations, in conjunction with their CAURD member, Ben. Together, they maintain a complementary leadership structure that balances operational discipline with a strong customer experience.
Outside of Raven’s Joint, Jason is a Managing Partner and Owner at Gray Matter Capital Partners, where he focuses on private investments and strategic advisory work. He has also served as a Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Cartwheel Advisors, which was later acquired in a stock transaction by a national real estate firm. Earlier in his career, Jason held senior leadership roles across investment management, technology, and professional services organizations, including leading project delivery, IT portfolio management, vendor management, and business analysis groups at firms such as Natixis Investment Managers, CDM Smith, and Best Doctors. He has also worked as an angel investor and founder, supporting early-stage companies with capital, operational structure, and execution.
Jason holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science and a Master’s Degree in Banking, Finance, and Securities Law from Boston University, as well as a Master’s Degree in Management and Leadership from MIT Sloan School of Management. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology and Management from Syracuse University, with additional focus in network and systems administration and continuous mathematics.
With a background spanning technology, finance, law, and operations, Jason brings a disciplined, systems-driven approach to building and scaling businesses. His work is grounded in strong operational foundations, accountability, and long-term sustainability, enabling Raven’s Joint to grow efficiently while remaining deeply connected to the community it serves.
